Founder and CEO

Kate holds a PhD in materials science & engineering (UPenn '14) and spent a decade in industry (ABB, Xerox PARC) and startups before founding Aquarry. She has broad experience in climate tech, project management, and technology development. She holds 20 patents.

Cansu Floyd, PhD

Cansu Floyd, PhD

Laboratory Scientist

Cansu holds a PhD in geology (OU '22), with broad expertise in environmental and planetary biogeochemistry and a focus on rock weathering, ore leaching, and acid mine drainage as well as mineral bio-extraction (Cemvita, Endolith). She holds 3 patents.

Audrey Grimes

Laboratory Engineer

Audrey completed her undergraduate degree in physics from Middlebury College. She has worked on climate research ranging from carbon sequestration projects at Middlebury to offshore wind energy analysis at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.

Peter Radziszewski, PhD

Peter Radziszewski, PhD

Peter advises on mineral processing, drawing on a career spanning academic and industrial R&D in mechanical engineering, including roles at Metso, Comminution Reimagined, and McGill University. He has authored over 200 technical publications and patents in areas such as comminution, wear, and sensor technologies for mining.

Ryan has over a decade of experience in climate technology and advises on venture fundraising, leveraging his background as an early-stage investor in breakthrough physical sciences. He previously worked across the electric power sector in project finance, acquisitions, and clean energy strategy.
